40. Lady Maud C. and Hedgewood Boy on Race Track Era: 1908-1915 Publisher: Anonymous |
Lady Maud C. and Hedgewood Boy, a famous brother and sister harness team in the early 1900s, were good at teamwork. Earlier in their lives they had pulled plows together. In 1910, when this card was postmarked, the M.W. Savage stable brought five horses to the Fair, including Dan Patch. In one of the feature races, Lady Maud C, driven by Hal Erwin, beat her stablemates Hedgewood Boy, Minor Heir, and George Gano. |
